On the Road

Behind the Song Some months back, I saw a video that was shot in India of a man who apparently is injured from what could be a gun shot or a hit-and-run driver. It was a major road. Several people rode by in their cars and bikes, pedestrians also seem to be in a hurry. A few pedestrians stopped to observe. Nobody moved close. Nobody did much. Only one or two persons waved at vehicles. An empty ambulance was waved but it sadly sped off. At the end it was but a social experiment. What if it was real? Well, he would have bled to death. Few weeks ago, I read of a man who died while waiting to get food on credit. It was on twitter. It was easier for me to get the story as published by "The Street Journal". While people were asking was it true or was it untrue, I remembered the story of the "Good Samaritan".
